Problem/Symptom
Cause

 

    
a)

Cannot get green flashing in mode 1

1) Bad contact on the G spot
    2) Dirty pogo pin or Dirty G spot
    3) G spot has a clear coat of varnish insulating it
 
 

Solution

a) Clean G spot with some alcohol and a cloth. Make sure console is off

b) Clean pogo pin with some alcohol

c) Very carefully scratch the surface of the G spot to remove the clear coat of varnish to reveal the metal contact
 
 
 
 
 
2. Problem/Symptom Cause
     

a)

Green flashing okay but console resets 3 times in mode 2 ( starts okay in mode 1)

 1) Bad bios
2) Bad contact on 1 of the 9 LPC points
 
 

Solution

a) Please try using our test bios to confirm

b) Clean both pogo pins and all LPC points on the console

c) Check that all pogo pins are functional
