In all our previous correspondence to you we have naturally focused on alleviating problems and trying to resolve the nightmare of supply issues. It has really been an exciting and rewarding time for us and with the support and encouragement from all of you we are sure it will continue.

What has become blatantly clear is that what started as a simple and logical concept has become a truly consumer driven and consumer friendly device. As a result, the feedback direct from you to us has meant so much more and has offered positive and gratifying motivation to all of us. The "no wires, no solder" story has become a bestseller. "I just thought I'd drop you a mail to say thanks for all your efforts in
designing and developing the Matrix.
Installation was easy and your installation documentation was excellent. I did the whole installation, including the disassembly and reassembly of the Xbox in under 30 minutes. The thought of soldering inside my xbox put me off going down the mod-chip route until I heard of Matrix. Now I have an Xbox I can actually use to it's full.

"I just wanted to thank everyone on team Xodus for making a chip that everyone could install. I consider myself intelligent, but i did not possess the technical skills for soldering 32 wires to my xbox and actually broke one trying to do so. You product enabled me install a mod chip successfully and even though people are complaining they have to wait for their chip to arrive it was well worth it and they know nothing about the struggles of supply and demand. You started out as a small company and couldn't invest billions of dollars mass producing enough chips to be shipped on the first day of distribution and i understood this and was prepared to wait in line. Overall i think you guys made a really good product and it shows by the massive amount of people that purchased it and are using right now.

"I said that i would write back after i got the chip working. It took some time to find everything i needed. I would never have bought a modchip if you hadn't designed a solder less one. I know tons of people who solder, but i'm just to afraid to ruin my xbox.

"Turns out I had a bad CD-RW and intolerant Xbox DVDROM. I plugged in a PC DVDROM and booted off a CD-R with no problem. Having a great time now, thanks for the prompt replies."

"Hi there,

Well after I emailed you I went into troubleshooting mode. And upon further inspection I noticed that the motherboard is covered in a clear coat type substance. The metal contact on the Gspot looked shiny and uncovered, but in actuality the metal contact was in fact covered. I took my exacto blade and scraped off the clear coat on the Gspot till it was noticeably shinier than the others. I put the chip back in and got a green light right away with no problems at all. I would strongly suggest that you put something in the manual about removing the clear coat stuff, and maybe even make it clear which spot exactly is the Gspot. I am sure alot of other people will have the same problem.. I would like to thank you for you quick response!! And also for coming out with such a great product.. Keep up the good work!!! Now back to the fun......"

You guys have been awesome to work with. I received the new programmer and
chip today via express mail non-the-less. Connected it to my LPT port, my
computer detected it immediately and proceeded to flash the chip. Installed
it onto my xbox and viola....... IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for
not only your prompt replies to my emails but also your prompt service in
getting the replacement chip out to me. I'm recommending you guys to all my
friends. As a matter of fact, I've got two that have been waiting to see if
I was able to chip my Xbox and if I was, place orders for themselves.

I'm going to jump on the forums right now and tell everyone how great you
guys are. Once again, thank-you so much for all of your help!"

"Thank you guys SO much. I have NEVER had ANY company reply to my email as fast as you guys have. I feel relieved now that I can purchase one of your Xodus/Matrix modchips for the XBox. I don't know how to solder, and this is the easiest way for me. After all, $200 isn't something to throw away, so unless you know how to solder, stick with the no-solder chips. And the best thing about it is, now I can put a larger Hard Drive in the XBox!! I'm so excited!! You guys have truly made my day. Hope you have much success, and keep doing what you love.
