Programming:

1. Try all of the steps listed on Xodus-Site Programming Troubleshooting

2. Try different batteries...new, used, almost dead, alkaline, non-alkaline.

3. Try holding the programmer and Matrix firmly into the LPT port as shown below

4. Try "pinching" the Matrix into the programmer while inserted into the LPT port as shown below

Installing:

NOTE:  When installing the Matrix in Mode 1, the following apply for the alignment LED

              Green LED:  The Matrix is most likely aligned, but it may not be.

              Red LED:  The Matrix is most likely NOT aligned, but it is possible that it actually is. (common issue with v1.1 Xbox)

              In either case, you can switch the Matrix to mode 2, 3, or 4 and see if it is the Matrix or Retail BIOS that is booting.

              This is easy to see with a colormod or noani BIOS, otherwise, you will have to test it by booting with a non-retail disk.
